OFFICE RELOCATION NOTICE

Official Documents Services (ODS) provides authentication service on documents that have been notarized by an Ontario Notary Public, commissioned by a Commissioner for taking Affidavits in Ontario, as well as certain government-issued documents such as a certified birth certificate. ODS also prepares certificates bearing the Great Seal of Ontario and the Privy Seal of the Lieutenant-Governor, on government appointment certificates.
 

Certificates of Appointment
Are you becoming a notary public or commissioner for taking affidavits? ODS issues certificates of appointment, once your appointment is approved by the Ministry of the Attorney General. Find out more about Certificates of Appointment.

 

Certificates of Authentication
Will you be travelling or doing business abroad? You might be required to provide proof of authentication for official documents issued in Ontario. ODS formally authenticates documents which have been legalized by a Notary public, Commissioners for taking Affidavits, and official records issued by the Office of the Registrar General.
